I agree that you should always keep your own dash to keep up with your target's own dash, that's a severe beginner mistake. But EQ'ing was to make sure she hits Q through roll, which worked out.
She also hit R max range, if anything it was still a decent roam as Vayne spent her barrier while Qiyana only used R and nothing else.
From what I see, she buffered her entire combo EQWQ and got cucked out of a big portion of her mobility, while getting out of range (had she kept her Q to anticipate Vayne's roll, she still wouldn't have hit most likely... I mean maybe she could have now that I take a closer look at it...)
Yeah you're right, she did get way too greedy, especially burning W by buffering her combo randomly.
Still, I don't know if she could have just walked up to auto... It looks like she could have at the beginning but that's because earth Q empowers her ms while she's close to the walls, and obviously if she had stayed against the walls she would have been hit by stun.

I still think R max range+Earth Q should have killed there but you make valid points...
