They want this, because they determined that massive global supply lines basically guarantee the USA loses any war it gets into with a real power, like China or Russia. So now they want to reshore stuff, but they still want labor costs low, so now we'll get a bunch of new H1Bs, so that when they move the Apple factory or whatever from America to Iowa, they can bring that cheap labor force with it.

Pretty much this. America First basically means Israel First, American Capital second. Americans are not really considered at all. They're just expected to clap because we're "winning" or something. Even when "winning" means flooding the country with foreigners from a third-world country to lower wages and living standards for the middle and lower classes. "Winning" means a lower standard of living for you, your family, and future generations, but Trump owned the libs by putting REAL SUGAR back in Coke and trying to get the Commanders to change their name back to the Red Skins, so it is time to clap.
