No, I started my undergrad in it all the way to Organic Chem, but got jaded by the industry at the time when getting into internships

I switched to Law to help people as it seemed like life was better that way

Silver lining is I got a good head start to try a little bit of everything, left my job last year to start my own research firm in public policy using data science, just do what you like and figure a way out to make money off to it - work matters more than credentials (unless there is some legal obligation like being a doctor)
