Continuing on, the individual looks around, and notices these newcomers aren't like him. They are different in more ways than one; possibly even polar opposites. Because of this, the individual may grow a small dislike towards them, whether because of what they are, or because they encroach on his self-believed liberties (protected by law, of course)!

The individual ponders this question. If immigrants are not from here, then surely they are being allowed into the country by the (already distrusted) government, or else they would be illegals, and deported.
>If there are this many being brought in, what is the need for them all?
The individual recalls that the government is entirely untrustworthy and does not have his best interests at heart.
>If not for his interests, or those like him, then for whom? The government itself? To what end?
The individual notices that many of these people are poor, even while having a job that would have once been enough to get by. If the government is bringing in poor people, and they take the jobs that the individual would have worked, what is left for him? By what means shall the individual grow and earn his place amongst society? How shall he have things he can call his own, or do as he pleases in his liberty?
