That's why I absolutely love it whenever I find a new artist, and then notice that said artist is a huge waifu or franchise fag, it usually results on great art for specific character.
As someone mentioned, "slop is good to feed your niche fetish", which is obviously very true and I (very rarely) like to use it as such.
But in the end it tend to get bored real fucking quickly because my shit is 100% soulless slop for a quick jerk, nothing else.
Fan art obviously doesn't have this problem a lot of times, even less so when it deals with certain things that AI just can't replicate easily without a lot of help.

It isn't, and the engine isn't the result of shit quality nor the reason for it. Unity games can be great, they can run well. UE games can run well, they can look great, they can be absolutely fantastic (Deus Ex, SWAT4, Splinter Cell, MANY more). The issue is that modern gaming is fucking awful in general, you can't blame this on a high end software package that gets abused by retarded saars, chinks and other subhuman to create slop. Same shit as with ""AI"" really.
