>I don't even understand why people rag on DT so much. It's a beach episode.

THE CITIZENS OF THE CITY DON'T EVEN WEAR SUMMER ATTIRE LIKE THEY ALL WEAR GENDER-NEUTRAL PONCHOS LIKE SOME COMMUNIST SHITHOLE, PONCHOS THAT WOULD BE TOO HOT TO WEAR IN SUCH A HUMID REGION BTW.

>She's blind
>Actually she's not blind she can still basically see everything, she can even read because uh, even ink has aether so she can read the text of books just the same (and somehow the entire page isn't just a blur of aether because apparently paper doens't have aether I guess or it's a different color of aether that contrasts just well enough with the color of ink's aether I dunno)
Ok so what was the point of making her blind then? In what way has Y'shtola's not-blindness impacted her negatively or positively? In what way has it developed her character any further? What was the point of making her "blind' but with none of the hindrances of actually being blind?
