Speaking of rage racer i'm on an autistic quest to prove some random anon wrong from an old /vr/oom thread wrong. The claim was made that sans extreme oval and diablo GP (which are impossible) the game could not be beaten using the starting gnade car (obviously upgrades are allowed) as it is too slow. So far using a negcon i've got to the 3rd extra GP getting gold in each race and getting gold upto the 5th extra GP doesn't feel like an impossible goal. What is becoming clear is very specific corners need drifting to maintain pace and importantly optimum revs on the exit. It is a challenge but bah gawd i'm going to do it.

As pic suggests i'm doing this on OG hardware so no emulator shenanigans either.
