It's mostly easy but fast RC has no buffer and dash karas are a 3f window iirc.
You can also find the occasional microdash combo or setup that has a 2f link, as well as big body specific combos/mixups or setplay related pickups

This anon >>715952809 puts it how it is, you can find the most wack ass mixup, Sol is still going to outdo it by mashing fS until he gets a counterhit and kills you with an easy ass combo
I still think it's a better compromise than Modern control scheme because players are actually playing the game rather than hitting the autocombo button, and you have the tools to deal with some of that bullshit
I just think they should scale down on the power level of that

The links aren't difficult, they're almost all 4f links unless it's something manually timed, the one I'm not sure about is linking cS into itself which might be more harsh since you'll get fS if you're too early?

I fucking love labbing (I have never landed this crossup ever after recording it since it's a manually timed 2f window)

Strive definitely has player expression, you can compare two high level players with the same character and you'll see they have different offensive and defensive habits.
This is also the game where everyone bitches they made instant blocking a 2f window, yet again you still see top level players pull that off in matches.

The main difference is instead of making the game awkward to play, with retarded shit like 1f links to hit confirm a low jab and making BNBs feel like utter shit in general, the difficulty is relegated to more advanced stuff.
You'll find difficult stuff like fast RCs (no input buffer), kara cancels (3f window), setplay related pickups, or even manually timed 2f crossups like this one.
