If you pick bird on the character select screen, you are intentionally throwing the game and telling your team "I am here to waste the next 30 minutes of your life".

I can tell you right now, your team would be far happier if you were to pick a real character that can tank like Raider or Executioner. Hell, even Revenant can contribute if she gets the right drop to fuck up whatever night lord you're fighting.
