Why did they change the rules just because they didn't like how he was doing it?

Reminder that Nintendo prohibits hiring anyone who worked on fan emulators to develop their in house product so they rely on some random Europeans straight out of school mixed with Japanese boomers who don't even want these games to be emulated to shit out their product. They have emulators that have 20+ year old performance issues in them because of this. As in, fans found and fixed the issues with emulation decades ago and Nintendo has them in their in house ones.
