With exclusives it's actually really easy because you can't find those games anywhere else so the more games sell, the bigger system sellers they are.

Not everything is like BOTW/TOTK, the prestige titles, people are probably still gonna buy a Switch 2 for those titles for years to come. But Nintendo has a lot of titles that people would buy if people own the system or they knew how fun they were but the hard part is selling them a system and actually reaching them in the first place

Casuals probably don't think that way. One day they get pissed off they've wasted too much money on some gacha game and they uninstall and buy a Switch 2 the next day.
