I went to look at a random streamer that's in plat to see if you gain the same amount as you lose but that seems not to be the case.
You gain 50LP after a win and lose 40LP after a loss (once they've lost 50LP but that was after they've won 4 times in a row so they've still gotten 150LP). To all you people complaining about platinum ranked, the system genuinely is fixed to make you climb up this rank, you can have a 50% win rate and still climb.
Focus on yourself scrubs, if you can't get out of plat you are where you belong.
