>Too dumb or lazy to bare with windows
Oh no, I am quite good at windows. If they didn't redownload shit or undo what I debloated I'd stick around. Windows
>Run debloat scripts
I am skeptical of running a script I don't trust or understand. Too dumb to fully audit the Github repo.

Yeah that's where I was at for a while till steam OS.
It's just comfy, finding fixes and figuring stuff out is fun, and overall most stuff works.
I wouldn't be willing to jump ship just cause windows sucks (again, survived windows ME, VISTA and 8).
It's a combination of windows sucking AND steam OS being genuinely fun and comfy.

Clever.
Funny thing is I am not necessarily against certain types of grants and tax breaks going to game devs.
>That Hollowknight story is a perfect example of why videogame grants are retarded. Meanwhile the film grant board could see the obvious even if they were bending the definition of animation.
>Kingdom of Alumar 1 & 2 notoriously got state employment grants
>Frequently to encourage devs to be in their state, states will give MASSIVE tax rebates and bonuses. Why? Because even if the game fails, the revenue from the employment is the goal.
The problem with videogame art grants and treating videogames as "art" is the people in charge of handing out the grant money are government beauracrats who rarely do their research.
It rarely ever helps the next Toby Fox or Hideo Kajima make a style of game that no company was willing to take a risk to make... it helps fund "consulting firms" and create the next "DUSTBORNE" or helps already greedy corporations suck up more money via hiring grant writers
