OP, most people would tell you that there is a part of you that is not wholly aligned with Yahweh, and that you have to forcibly realign that part with the divine. However, if this 'sympathy for the devil' is a regular occurrence, like you say it is, then you may have to consider that instead of a part of you not being in alignment with Yahweh, all of you is not in alignment with Yahweh, and instead, in alignment with Lucifer. Otherwise, you would not regularly feel the need to break out of the alignment with the divine, even if that need is currently manifesting itself as a faint whisper and a tender curiosity.

Most of us are wired to follow a greater outside of ourselves because it absolves us of the pain and misery of life while also making it impossible to experience the full breadth of its beauty and joy. Others are wired to reject the greater other outside of ourselves and manifest ourselves wholly, even if this means bearing the brunt of life's worst aspects in exchange for enjoying its most beautiful parts, too. It's the path of Yahweh and the path of Lucifer.

Something in you is saying that you aren't quite wired to follow Yahweh. You can attempt to forcibly follow this greater other, and to a large degree, it will consume you to the point of usurping even most of what tells you that this isn't what you are made for, but it will only succeed in swallowing it whole if you dissolve yourself completely within Yahweh.

Or you take this regular fork in your road and walk the path of Lucifer, where you'll be invited to unassailably manifest your unique self and reach apotheosis. There may be a reason that it is a regularly appearing fork in the road.

Denial of the self or assertion of the self. A safety that is superceded only by the safety of death or life in all of its facets, both terrible and wonderful.

The choice is yours, just as it is your life.

Are you the Anon from yesterday's thread who, after I came back almost a day later, spent an entire day arguing and flailing wildly at other Anons, thinking they were me?

I welcome disagreement, you simply left no room for discussion with your absolute assertion. I know that's due to the simplistic attitude of "I am on the side of the bigger guy who everyone says is the bigger and the right guy, so I am that, too, and you must follow sui or be wrong." It's simply something I cannot be bothered with anymore. Pointing out the obvious here isn't necessary, I hope.Sometimes, I wonder why Yahweh speaks through your ilk in such childish ways.

Freedom to, freedom from. Positive liberty, negative liberty. There is a world of knowledge outside of texts considered sacred.
