I'll post only the most interesting lore of them in that case and keep it brief. Unfortunately I haven't formatted this lore into a neat pdf yet. Here is the gist of their story as a whole.
>Errantry crusade /mydoods/ took part in to the Land of the Dead is initially unsuccessful and is defeated, pushed back by Septhah the Amarinthine; this left their leader and most of their brothers in arms dead.
>The surviving knights were driven into the Badlands where, on the highlands overlooking theBlack Gulf, the Bretonnians met the Amarinthine in a desperate battle. Through daring heroics, Septhah was slain, and the surviving knights returned to the Border Princes to prepare a defense for Settra the Imperishable's inevitable reprisal.
>He and the remainder of his retinue joined the service of Sir Cecille Gastonne and fought alongside him in the Battle of Matorea.
>Narrowly surviving the ferocious battle (and conveniently leaving the fate of said battle ambiguous) and waylaid by staggering Orc numbers in the Grey Mountains, he and his thinned, now-veteran retinue of fellow knights formed a free company in order to survive the harsh lands in which they found themselves, before traveling abroad to seek further glory, adventure, and fortune.
>Under Sir Jean Pointu's leadership the company made a name for themselves in Tilea, distinguishing themselves as extremely skilled fighters and serving as mercenaries in the never-ending internecine conflicts there.
