I kinda agree, I think they just fucked up execution, i.e. half-assed it + they completely ruined their reputation up to this point, so people are just going off at them at any opportunity. No benefit of doubt, nothing. Bugs, weird engagement driven changes, some changes not quite hitting the mark or just plain unfinished stuff, etc.
I'll be honest, the campaign burned me out, there is just too much minor, yet annoying puzzling at every step. It felt artificially padded out, instead of just being pure parkour and combat encounters, like it usually was.
Lock me in a fun looking room, give me reason to care, interesting combat scenario and put some amazing music. Less of being a little mouse and trying to find a hole to hide my cheese in.
Btw, making you able to freely use Matterspark post-campaign was an amazing addition, it should have been like this from the start. I'll probably would have hated it less.

But I really liked story, and dialogues, at least characters were taking it seriously this time.
