Possibly the most FUDed gun topic of all time.
So I've spent the past 24 hrs doing research on this given that I'm going inna woods.
My conclusions:
>Any modern handgun will stop a grizzly if you hit the brain. (or heart or spine)
>No modern handgun except extremely powerful meme rounds will RELIABLY stop a grizzly with body shots.
Larger calibers offer no real advantage given that you still need a headshot, spine or heart shot.
the 10mm reddit woods glock offers no advantage over a standard 9mm given that both will work on the brain and be fundamentally useless anywhere else.
So,
>to maximize survival carry a long gun
>if you don't wanna carry a lung git gud at headshots
Am I missing something?
