What bugs me about this is most of CXCD's stuff is good IMO. Dude has one of the best breakdowns of how much of a villain Celestia comes off as, especially concerning Baconhair. Call him a bandwagoner or a latecomer or whatever all you want, the fact of the matter is he IS a newcomer but he's actually talking about the show and not just making infection AUs or pothead memes.

>lmao why this dude so retarded
I assume everyone clings to that old draft of Boast Busters so they can have the barest hint of canonicity. It's no longer enough to say "I identify with this character on some level so they're ___ to me." No, now everyone's fanfic take just HAS to be secretly intended by the writers all along or else they'll literally have a bad day or something.

Actually, no, wait, it's probably more that they project their gender insecurity shit so hard that even disagreeing with a character they've claimed equates to outing them in public, so they have to have this canonicity to hide their own frail egos behind. Straight people will just agree so they're not rocking the boat or being a bad ally or what the fuck ever.
It's fucking pathetic, especially considering most of my friends are somewhere on the rainbow and they all hate idiots like this too.

At the end of the day, they say Trixie is trans because they desperately want some attractive mare character to be trans. They don't actually see her as being trans; if that were the case, why not Big Mac? Big Mac had a whole fucking female persona with costume ready to go at a minute's notice.

I see Maud and Rarity as autistic- because they remind me of myself. Maud is a monotone social retard who talks to inanimate objects and is constantly bursting with trivia only she cares about. Rarity is >picrel. I don't particularly care if people disagree because 1) I know these ideas were never authorial intent and 2) my belief is based on how these characters act onscreen, not some weird need for validation I latched onto because "SEE, SEE, THEY WERE TOTALLY A GUY AT FIRST in a purely out-of-universe and meta sense but please ignore that"
