They split the game up into episodes, but each video game takes 5-10 years to make now, so by the time this game is actually done it'll already be outdated, and also I probably won't care or remember it anymore.

I have accepted that it will cost me $30 a year to play this shitty game, but that's still a better value than FFXIV and WoW so I'll take it.
