At this point even if I do finally break into an entry-level position and start a tech career I know I'm just going to end up regretting it. I like computers and programming so getting a shitty tech job where I have to put up with jeets all day is very likely going to kill my enthusiasm for it, then I'll have nothing to look forwards to in my life. I should've went into something like mechanical or civil engineering

I'm starting at a new university this fall to finish my bachelor's after getting an associate's in programming and also to get some internships. It's one of the best public universities for CS in my state and is in an area with a lot of tech jobs but I'm not optimistic about the job market at all.
This is going to be a waste of time and money, right? I should either switch degrees or just find a job in blue collar or retail/foodservice. I don't know which degrees I should switch too though, I'm autistic as fuck and there's no way I would get along with anyone in a normie degree field like marketing or finance.
