As a young man, it's in your best interest to get a "practice girlfriend". Feminists can cry all they want but the simple truth is that men need to "use" women to gain experience otherwise they're just never going to get it.
Women have it easy. They can gain experience from hoards of men, it's not even a question, experience is simply something that happens to them. Men don't, you will have to lie a little bit, you will have to fake it, maybe over-promise how much you actually like girl and lead her on for a bit.
There's just no other way to do it. Young men aren't handed experience on a platter, they have to grab it when the opportunity arises. This makes women mad and cry about how manipulative and scummy men are, but it's the environment they helped create so they're just going to have to deal with it.

Men need to have "practice girlfriends". Simple as. Job won't hire you without experience but how are you supposed to get experience without a job? You cheat a little bit. You lead a girl on, you lie, you fake it till you make it.
It sucks in a lot of ways, it's disturbingly manipulative and I don't believe most men would do it if they had any other option. But they don't. There's simply no way around it. Women are encouraged to "use" more mature men for experience and this is healthy and empowering and a part of the process of growing up but men don't have access to a similar outlet. Mature and experienced women don't even consciously register young, inexperienced men for so much as a one-night stand.
Men have to be manipulators and cheaters, especially when they're you. There is simply no other way for men to grow. This is the world foids created and it angers them.
