Yes it’s possible, I did it >>76240065, but it takes a lot of work. I quit smoking last August, and I’m 225lbs (6’2”). I’ve run over 1000 miles in the year between these two 5k times. If I were you, I’d run however much feels /comfy/, and sign up for a local 5k race about once a month to gauge your progress. Race settings are good for encouraging yourself to go all out.
