yeah catman has a sit animation that starts close ish to what i want and i've been trying to adjust it, i've been just messing around and tweaking all sorts of stuff to see what happens, feels like there's i can do some witchcraft behind the scenes with some bones that won't really show in screens which is nice.

i feel like i've been flailing and making very low progress but i just don't know what a good rate of progress *is*. i'm addicted to learning and improvement so that helps at least, but i dunno if i'm wasting my time with certain things or if there's a wrong way to learn so to speak.
