Man it's crazy how many extremely powerful yet also missable items there are in the game
>Malpian Shroud, Janus Torpedos & Spirit Drape being exclusive Colony rewards
>all sorts of missable items behind ONE time only skill checks like the best staff for Cassia, the best one for Psy Rating, best boots for Cassia etc.
>just Solomorne's recruitment ship area alone has FOUR permanently missable items, all of which are very powerful and hidden behind one time only skillchecks, including a shotgun that literally adds +1 attack, something you can count in 1 hand as far as items that do that in the WHOLE game, and you can never return to that area
