For centuries, the Middle East has been a blur of constant violence with no clear beginning or end. Desert tribes disputing who owns territory and killing each other over it.
Why is everyone freaking out *this time*? Isn't this just the same shit as always?
How could this scenario possibly escalate into WW3? What reason do other countries have to even *care*?
I understand why China and the US would beef over Taiwan. The TSMC is in Taiwan, and if China gets it, the rest of the world might not have access to semiconductors anymore. Extremely clear stakes. Even a retard like me can understand.
But why the fuck would any 1st-world country stick their neck out for some sand people killing each other in the desert? Who gives a fuck about those countries???
