Honestly even with lore, I don't think Kratos can win.
>Asura is still faster and even if you go autism mode and say Kratos has infinite speed due to that retarded Helios underworld light feat, you can do the same for Asura escaping Naraka
>due to the Mantra reactors several trillion souls, the Claw of Hades would take an eternity ripping out all of Asura's souls
>Asura resisted power absorbing in the manga
>Kratos' lore power is only superior if you assume absolute best case scenario for him while Asura's power is just casually better in most scenarios
>even if it was stronger, Asura can just keep adapting till he equalizes in strength and can just resurrect until then
>can't even petrify him with Medusa's head since Asura moved from a statue like state when he resurrected in that one episode, also when he fought Akuma
>Kratos cannot stop Asura from resurrecting which he was doing in a few hours in the manga
