I'm personally fine with it. I don't really have a problem with artists finding a new itch or fascination and moving on with that. Nothing lasts forever. I only really have a problem with artists doing that if it's something like what happened to Fakeryway where the artist had to stop drawing the IP altogether because literally 1 person was actively trying to get them into fandom shitstorms every week over it.
