You mean install a heat exchanger just for your PC and not the rest of the room?
It would dump all of the hot air into the room around the PC, which if it wasn't vented out, would just draw hot air back into the PC again.
You need to vent the air around the PC, vent away the hot, suck in the cold.

>which is why I'm even more confused by his support.
Again, as a dude who works in cyber, it is far easier to fool people than you think. It doesn't even matter what level of intelligence a person has, social engineering plays on parts of human psychology which are largely automatic responses or rely on unconscious biases people have and aren't aware of. If you're interested there's three points id highlight as to why you might be confused which might explain some of what this guy relies on

There's 3 things Thor relies on for social engineering most of the time. It's authority, likeability, and the natural tendency for people to double down. The first is authority, he loves to come across as a business insider and expert in all things relating to cyber and game dev as well as flash his credentials. This makes people trust him automatically in the same way seeing a doctor in his full dress would in a hospitable , it's less about ability and more about an image. The second is likeability, he tries to play to the mood of a certain "chill" persona and match the mood of his audience and while citing authority a lot tries to also play up how "relatable" and "down to earth" he is constantly being a hard worker and so humble and all. This makes people put their guard down since they can relate to him on some level which makes him seem more human. The 3rd thing Thor really exploits is the natural tendency for people to ALWAYS double down on their judgements. People judged pirate as a good, wise, authoritative guy and since they've already made that decision, even in the face of evidence, they have a strong tendency to double down on that judgement. This is also a reason why he doubles down while being caught, because it create a feed back loop for those people who have the same bias. It's the same thing you see in families who defend members who are abusive or cults.
