You know I remember there being two webcomics that sort of tried to be more grounded and include the characters trying to explain their family and friends their situation, one was about some teens who enter some abandoned house got knocked down and where turned into girls and I remember the scene where the now complete stranger had to convince his own mom of his identity.
The other was from the artist who drew those nagas in the early 00s and that one was more of about two guys who wake up Hangover after a night of drunk bar hopping as women trying to figure out what happen the night after and who cursed them, there two they sort of had to explain their situation to family and acquaintances.
