look, when you're saying "QC will be in the dark world and carol won't", you're implicitly stating that QC will be more important because otherwise why would she end up IN a dark world? a small cameo wouldn't earn her a place on gaster's list, and it can't be the whole town for the same reason since characters like the royal guards and snowy aren't on there, so something has to put her SPECIFICALLY in a dark world but not the whole town
and besides, i've never understood the idea of "only characters on the list will end up in the dark world", since once again by this logic the whole town won't end up in there, but instead very specific characters like bratty and asriel (who isn't even in town yet) - it just ends up feeling like a massive stretch so you can say "HAHA, I found your secret ticket to knowing what's going to happen in the story Toby! Look at me, I'm smarter than all these idiots!"
