Thast pretty based though.I know that feel.Theres so much random stuff i herd back then from kazaa.Darkwave.Trance n techno.Some i found over the years n some is jst a mystery still.Nd then i had a wee english pal on MSN that MSN file shared Aphex twin nd a lot of music thats stuck with me for life is stuff that jst happened like that.However youd go on soulseek and search for specific stuff.Not to be funny but i think nowadays i cant see how youd get the same feeling like.Back then you had to search for music on purpose so if u met someone with the same tastes it was a real connection.Whereas now it feels like everybody is just into everything.So if i was a 20yo zoomer n somebody was into the same music it would be like.Oh right, so weve both seen the same tiktok.Its more shallow feeling.But am just a 30yo boomer.Obviously ppl said the same back then about moving from CDs to internet.Funny enuff my only online pal now is an english guy n he collects CDs.Not vinyls.CDs.Dont know why hes just into them.And tapes i fink but not as much.I used to collect vinyls too but i sold a lot as it was jst taking up space n i was depressed n getting prepared to leave this earth.Ave still got most of kate bush's music on vinyl in some form though.
