Probably due to the "Oni God" thing. I'm guessing that the Oni God was mentioned by Echidna as one of few able to take Aldebaran on. Ram already has fairly keen senses and, despite her and Al probably being able to get along in theory she could probably see through him not to mention the oni god. Ram could do that and Rem can also notice miasma so.. in a way the oni god or twin combo would be a huge Al counter. There was another person that was able to figure him out due to instinct like Ram would.. and that person lead to Al losing his arm. And Rem would be wary if not hostile due to the miasma so, the two combined would counter him even outside of the oni god shenanigans.
