>Ate an apple pie with melted ice cream my grandma made.
I don't think my grandma ever made me anything. My mom didn't much like making anything for me, and they're both dead.
It probably tasted like a sweet warm hug. T_T

Sounds like a classic time, actually. If you had some old MTV on tap you'd have a comfy 90s style day going.

Some of it could be a lack of "one mindfulness". Try focusing on just the experience, no streams or distractions, no extra activities. Pick a game, disregard all other things, even maps or tips, and just play the game.
The very best thing about VR games is that you pretty much have to pay this way. Headphones with the set, and you will be fully immersed, and can just play the game.
Could also be a lack of interest in the game you play. Instead of buying into the hype and consuming the slop, choose something that actually is fun. Many games are just tasks and busywork, or loaded with filler and "content" (a word I despise now), and not purely about the game.
Simplify if you can. Nothing fancy, just back to the basics. A nice 2d platforming game or adventure, or something else that isn't pretending to be deep with artificial layers like most strategy games.
You can also just walk away. Try a week without games. No mobile shit, no 4chan because this will rot your attention span. You will be back, we will be hare, n the meantime, do something more paced and less short term gratifying.
