The mechs outside superweapons will not be the size of skyscrapers. They are like 19 to 20 meters tall (might have to change it if my math is off).
Weapons are mainly practical projectiles and missiles with different ammunition types. Railguns are new, You have plasma based sabers that are new weaponry that is rolling out over the traditional melee weapon for the mechs.
