Them homogenising the jobs is the biggest reason I unsubbed and just went back to FFXI private servers. Honestly, I don't know what is the obsession with MMOs and the story. Like in FFXI the stories/expansions are very good but the focus was always the jobs, the equipment, the stats, the grind etc.

SB AST/DRK/SCH were so much fucking fun. I think raidfaggots really are to blame for killing the uniqueness of the jobs. They would complain that another job does 0.3% more damage than another and the devs capitulated to them. Like dude, not every fucking job needs to be some bleeding edge meta min/max bullshittery. But the weirdos are absolutely obsessed with min/maxxing dps, even if it makes a fight like maybe 10 seconds quicker it's insane.

I hate parse and raidfaggots more than the ERPers and modbeasts. They truly ruined a game that was quite fun back in the day.
