The first 7 episodes or so was some of the worst shit i've ever seen. Horrible acting, the most generic cliched backstories. After that, the plot started getting more interesting. And things slightly improved. Good enough to string you along until the shitty ending. It really should have stopped once they got off the island the first time. The only thing missing was aliens.
Desmond was my favorite character.
It suppose was good by network tv standards.

I'd also like to take this moment to say the wire sucked. I don't like looking at black "people." They are ugly and being reminded they exist and have ruined every major city across America is just depressing.
