There was no plan. This shit is rarely done with any sort of planning.
It's like plugging the holes in a sinking ship. You grab some random shit to plug one, then go to another and do the same. That way you are technically dealing with the problem, while ignoring that if that's all you do, the ship will eventually sink anyway.
I know it's funny to meme that he conned everyone out of their money and fled to SEA, but it's far more likely he wasted all that money and now he is shitting his pants in a corner, not knowing how the fuck he is going to pay any of his debts.

This is standard cancellation stuff, anon.
First you get the people who genuinely were affected (Mouse).
Then you get the people who were affected to a lesser extent (unpaid artists).
Then you get the niggas who have nothing to do with it, but they kinda remember one bad interaction so now they present it as them knowing the vibes were off from the start (Lily, random grifters, etc).
I fully expect to get some guy jumping in to let us know that they always hated vshojo because Gunrun was kinda rude to them at one TwitchCon party 3 years ago.
