Content for FF14 that had potential but failed:
>Chaotic, originally thought by the community to be a harder version of an Alliance raid recalling back to Ivalice on release, what turned into is a 24 man single room boss fight. Content is dead.
>Criterion, what the community thought it might be some kind of WoW mythic type scaling difficulty raid, repeatable dungeon that were harder than normal dungeons but not so hard that you couldn't pug it. What it turned into was Extreme tier boss fights but over 4 people which made them as hard as a Savage for personal responsibility. Content is dead
>Cosmic Explorers thought to be the best part of Diadem, Firmament and Island Sanctuary. What it turned into was basic bitch mining that you do in the Open world mixed with some crafting fates that are worse in every regard to Ishgard Firmament. Content is dying.
>Occult Crescent thought by the community to be the best of Eureka and Bojza, what it turned into was the worst of Eureka and Bojza and the timing couldn't be worse when the player base was crying out for more casual-midcore content that was a more relaxing grind, it was with a raid that is incredibly difficult to get into and if you do get into it (Fork Tower) it's as hard as a Savage with only 3 resses per entire run for a 48 man raid.Content is dying.
>Savage is now too difficult for people who don't use mods and tools to run, too easy for those who have played for 10 years and do use tools, the dev team listened to those who have been using mod tools and complained it was too easy, and made the Savage raids now so difficult it's almost an insurmountable task for a vanilla player to raid. Content is dead.
>Ultimate has the same issue as Savage. Content is dead.
