Not really, with all the freedom she had such tendencies would have shown themselves clearly. Deer seem to be a sort of fascination or enthusiasm, who knows where it started.
If she had such tendencies she would probably have repurposed hair from other subjects and make the necessary sounds, which would be too freaky I think
