Hi /sci/,
I wish to start learning mathematics again from scratch. To be honest I didn't really pay much attention or try hard in school and what I did learn I've mostly forgotten. Tbh I always found the way math is written and taught wasn't very intuitive and didn't come naturally to me. I've been a software developer for many years now and I'm hoping my programming experience might help the math make more sense this time around. For example I was amazed when I saw a post showing how the scary Sigma Notation thingy is really just a simple For Loop in programming. I wonder how many other things are just like that... I bought pic related to help me on my journey, it seems like a cool piece of equipment. Any advice from /sci/ to help me on this journey would be greatly appreciated. Advice on learning math from the ground up is all welcome but I'd be especially grateful if anyone knows of any resources aimed at translating programming skills to math skills and making math make sense to a programmer. Thanks /sci/, its my first post here so plz no bully, I just wanna git gud.

I just bought one of these a few days ago, HP Prime G2, seems pretty badass, I suck at math, I'm excited to go back and study it properly from scratch now I'm older, I didn't really pay attention in school. I feel like after programming for years the math will come more naturally this time around, at least I hope so... if anyone has any advice I'd welcome it.
