Mana weaving yields a statistically more random result than mana clumping. If you had infinite perfectly randomized shuffles, most of them would result in a more broad distribution of land throughout the deck, simply because there are more nonland cards than land cards. If mana weaving leads to this outcome, and mana clumping does not, and both methods sufficiently randomize the deck for play, then mana weaving is superior to mana clumping at getting closer to a normal distribution of perfect randomness.

Not a limited player

Unironically, new players of /edhg/ go to a limited event. Go to many. It makes you better at card evaluation, and a better player overall. Three weeks of drafts and you will see your commander decks in a whole new light.
