Yeah but this wasn't a problem with Undertale because it came out as a finished product. It's purely an issue because of Deltarune's episodic release schedule and the theory spam cancer that has arisen from that.
I really do wonder: how much better Deltarune would be if it had released as a finished product?
Would it look even remotely similar? Most of it is clearly designed around episodic release e.g. the cliffhanger chapter endings, mountain of inter-NPC interactions in castle town, minigames, etc
None of this crap would need to be in the game if it dropped in one go
