Just even simple athletics suck and i'm in my 30s. But the thing is that that alot of people who have kids lack real meaning for their lives. Having people that they can control superficially fills the void of meaning for them. Having complete control over a defenseless human is how narcissists amd borderlines fill the void that is their sense of self.
