I don't get why anybody is upset.
Pekora and Kojimbo had an interview and in it, he talked about watching all of Pekora's streams and loving them so much to understand why she's the top female streamer in the world.
That's the extent of why she's added. He's just a fan adding someone he likes to a game he's making.

I saw two posts last night that each explained possible reasons behind the extreme seething

Either way it's just odd that a silly cameo like this broke them so much.
