Co-workers are pushing me to get a new car, they say my 2013 Honda Jazz is embarrassing to everyone and makes me look unprofessional, it makes people think I must have a substance abuse problem. I'm an Australian teacher, so on good money. Occasionally we have to move a few students in our personal cars, and a parent complained that it wasn't fair that their kid was in my old Jazz and the kids who went with the other teachers were in much better cars
I am being pushed to get a lease with salary packaging using this which has some deal with the department of education

personally, I am happy with my car and have no intention of doing it, I like not having a car payment, and don't understand how this works, any Australians want to explain this to me?
