this is a stretch, but with berdly getting stopped from actually forming the fountain and us seeing susie do it, I think that may have been a case of misdirection just like the "everybody bleeds" line but then the only person we've seen bleed is susie.
that said Kris clearly doesn't need us to create a fountain, but I think the red soul is "the most potent" the thing with the most raw driving force that makes "main characters" and I think thats more important than the idea that other soul colors mean or dont mean anything. the game only exists in a sense when we are around, yes the world has history without us but the camera is always on us and if we weren't around the story wouldn't progress even if the story right now is one we dont have any free will over, it still would not move. that idea of the red soul being the big "driving force" toby always alludes to in his stuff makes sense I think when you take tobys non meta way of approaching meta ideas.

I want kris in a fighting game where they act like two seperate entities. The soul has some attacks but kris does all the work. Kris also throws the soul sometimes as a projectile.
