I wanted to get into gamedev back in 2008. I went to college for programming, since I thought a generalist course would be better than an overspecialized one. I graduated in 2012, and didn't want to move to (((Toronto))). Ultimately, I didn't want to move away from family, pay a huge rent, and compete with Indians overseas. I took 2 years off, then just fucked around at Walmart for 10 years. I still tinker with dev and finance and stuff as a hobby.
