I would love to be a fly on the wall at Square Enix/ CS3 when they played through Exp 33 discovering everything YoshiP said about jrpgs was false and you could have realistic graphics and turnbased, that you could still have an Overworld, that you can have elemental weaknesses, and a camp, and a party system, and builds and an amazing story with good characters, good va's remember that Yoshida? Do you remember good voice actors? You should one of them was a VA for your own game.
What a joke Square Enix is.
The irony is by chasing trends they've become outdated and stale.
They're releasing an AmongUs clone and no one cares, they released Foamstars to chase the popularity of Splatoon and that game flopped, they chased the trend of Superheroes but too little too late with Marvel Avengers, and the heroine game with Flopspoken.
They're an absolute joke of a company, their value is far inflated above their actual output of quality games.
