Most IA teams don't feel piled up because of how the themed dettachments work. In my opinion the way to get a full unique range would be by adding more vehicles and ground troop options that can be shared by multiple dettachments like hive scum, deamonhosts, jokaeros and so on. Generally there's a lot to work with when it comes to them and I wish we had more navy stuff because aside from the 2 KTs it feels like it's soon to be squatted.

They're not cops they're more like a special engagement force like those armored borderline paramilitary police forces countries with heavy crime rates like Mexico and America have. Each planetary government has their own police force and if the arbites show up it means someone needs to get turbo raped. They are by all means a semi elite military force just not a very big one due to how their organization works. They can work as a KT or just a specialized invasion force depending on how you want to run your game or crusade but putting them in large grand scale engagements feels goofy, as with any inquisitor's retinue really
