I know exactly why you have not found an electrical engineering job anon, I was in your exact same position when I graduated.
You have only been applying to roles local to where you live, I got nowhere doing that...
When you are first starting out (as a graduate) you need to be flexible, you need to be applying to roles all over the country and be willing to relocate when you get an offer.
